Dr. Mathew received her undergraduate degree from University of Albany and her Doctor of Optometry degree from The University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry. She completed her residency with an emphasis on Ocular Disease at the Hudson Valley Veterans hospital. Dr. Mathew wrote several peer reviewed publications pertaining to Macular Degeneration and drug therapy related to anti -virals and eyelid disease. She also participated in a service trip to provide eye care to under-served populations in Guerrero, Mexico via Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity. Additionally, she worked at a private practice in New Jersey for several years and recently moved to the Philadelphia area.
Dr. Mathew is a member of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. When not in the office, Dr. Mathew spends her time hiking, playing volleyball, and traveling.
