Optometrist
Dr. Gina DeFloria, born and raised in southwestern Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh, graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. She previously earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and minoring in Italian from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, where she was a four-year Division I swimmer and team captain her senior year.
As part of her clinical training, Dr. DeFloria completed a diverse range of rotations and her experiences focused on pediatrics and binocular vision, ocular disease, and contact lenses. She received clinical honors for her performance during her internal and external rotations.
Dr. DeFloria is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Pennsylvania Optometric Association. Outside of the office, she enjoys staying active- these days you’ll find her at a Pilates class or weightlifting rather than in the pool. She also loves trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
